Fiberglass and soft EVA: what happens in the millisecond of impact

Fiberglass flexes noticeably more than a carbon weave. On contact the face deforms, the ball stays on the surface a fraction longer, and it leaves with a push the player never had to generate themselves.

That trampoline effect is what defines this racket's ball exit. On a defensive lob from the corner, body off balance and barely half a metre of arm swing available, the ball still crosses court and lands near the opponent's back line.

Smash by 3 and flat smash. Not its strong suit. Putting the ball away requires generating all the speed from the shoulder, since the face won't multiply what comes in.

The reverse doesn't work. If your game identity is built around closing points with power, the VirtuFit Control is going to demand a physical effort another model would spare you.

Verdict: honest about what it does, limited in what it doesn't

This model doesn't compete on performance with rackets from dedicated padel brands, and it doesn't try to. What it does deliver is well thought out: a big sweet spot, forgiving touch, generous ball exit and rock-solid volley stability.

What it doesn't deliver is just as clear: power to finish points, informative feedback on fast balls, and any room for customisation through variants. It's a one-trait racket, no hidden layers.

If you're moving past absolute beginner level and want a padel racket that won't punish your elbow while you groove your technique, it more than delivers. If you're already the one closing points from above, you'll outgrow it within months.
