Who this racket is for

Pros

  • The X-Tend Carbon 12K delivers a crisp, direct response on smashes and flat kills: energy doesn't scatter, and contact registers all the way up the arm with a clarity you rarely get in this bracket. The Multieva core paired with the 265 mm head-heavy balance turns the vibora off the back wall into a high-inertia weapon — the more swing you put in, the more it gives back — a clear step up from mid-balance rackets with softer cores. The 3D Grain texture bites into the ball on cut bandejas and chiquitas without letting directional control slip, which is a pleasant surprise on a racket this power-focused. HESACORE in the grip soaks up off-centre shock and takes the strain off the elbow through long sessions, which matters on a racket this stiff, where every mishit travels straight up the arm.

Cons

  • The 265 mm balance and dense Multieva core show their limits on defence: get to a wide lob or a low wall ball a beat late and you're rewarded with a dead-feeling rebound and an error you can't correct for. The X-Tend Carbon 12K is unforgiving outside the sweet spot; in fast net exchanges the margin for error is noticeably tighter than on round-shaped or head-light rackets. If your elbow is sensitive or you're coming back from injury, the 12K carbon's stiffness loads the arm progressively over sessions past 90 minutes, even with HESACORE doing its job.

The Bullpadel XPLO 25 2025 is designed for competition or pro-level players who prioritise performance and precision over comfort. Its diamond shape moves the sweet spot to the top of the face, giving more leverage and power at the cost of some tolerance. The high balance adds weight to the swing and pushes the racket toward an offensive profile. The medium hardness offers a reasonable compromise between impact absorption and shot response. Its 365-375g weight range places it in the medium-weight group, the most common among amateur players.

Bullpadel's power play: the XPLO 25, built with Di Nenno's stamp on it

When Bullpadel sat down with Martín Di Nenno to design the XPLO 25 2025, there was one brief: build the most explosive racket the brand has ever made. What came out of it is a diamond-shaped face in X-Tend Carbon 12K, a Multieva core, and a full tech stack that starts at the 38mm profile with Hexature and ends at the handle with HESACORE.

The numbers back it up: 365-375 g, balance at 265 mm, hitting surface of 535 cm² — the exact specs Di Nenno plays with on the pro tour.

Inside the XPLO 25: X-Tend Carbon 12K meets Multieva

The X-Tend Carbon 12K face is Bullpadel's thick-weave carbon construction: each tow packs thousands of filaments that produce a sharp, direct response on contact. On overhead smashes and flat kills, whatever energy goes into the racket comes back out with almost nothing lost along the way. It doesn't cushion the shot — it converts it.

The Multieva core does the heavy lifting underneath. It's Bullpadel's multilayer hardened EVA, with density increasing toward the centre to store energy on impact and release it back along the swing path. On court, that translates into ball exit that rewards head speed — the harder you swing, the more the racket gives back.

The frame brings together four proprietary systems: - Hexature: a hexagonal tube that stiffens the side profile without piling on extra weight at the edges. - Air Power: a perimeter aero channel that cuts wind resistance and shortens swing prep time. - Wave System: a structural layout tuned to optimise energy transfer at impact. - Smart Holes: frame perforations placed to concentrate power right in the sweet spot.

At the handle, HESACORE — the grip's hexagonal honeycomb structure — spreads hand pressure and cuts off vibration before it travels from the face to the elbow. On a racket as stiff as the XPLO 25, that's not a comfort extra — it's the difference between grinding out 90 minutes and feeling it in your arm after 60.

The face finishes with 3D Grain: a geometric texture built to grip the ball on cut bandejas and chiquitas. On a power racket where spin usually takes a back seat, that texture adds real bite on sliced shots.

Shot by shot: where the XPLO 25 shines, and where it demands more

Smash and overhead bandeja

This is where the XPLO 25 earns its name. The diamond shape puts the weight up top, the Multieva core stores it on contact, and the X-Tend Carbon 12K sends it all one way: forward. Smashes come off the face with a starting speed that forces opponents to read the shot before it even crosses the line.

The 3D Grain texture adds real bite on the cut bandeja too: the ball stays on the face just a touch longer, giving you spin without needing to open the face too much.

Vibora and baseline play

The 265 mm balance builds inertia into the cross-court vibora. Coming from the right side, the racket carries the swing without needing extra wrist effort — the head-heavy mass does the work. In hands with a long swing and real shoulder rotation, the XPLO 25 produces a ball exit that's genuinely hard to defend from the net.

Volley and net play

The 38mm profile and Hexature bring stability at the net, but the 12K carbon's stiffness narrows the margin on short volleys. A contact slightly off-centre at net shows up more here than on a round-profile or head-light racket. The XPLO 25 wants the ball dead centre.

Defence and side-wall retrieval

This is the racket's toughest ask. The 265 mm balance and hardened Multieva core offer no safety net when the ball comes in fast and low: get to a lob or a side-wall defensive shot a step late, and the rebound is dead with no way to redirect it. Vibradrive takes the edge off frame vibration on these forced impacts, but it doesn't change the racket's fundamentally offensive nature.

Who is it for — and who should look elsewhere?

Works best for players who: - Play from an attacking position and have the smash and cut bandeja dialled in - Have already played mid-to-high balance rackets and are chasing the next step up in power - Have a grooved, consistent swing and don't lean on a control racket's forgiveness - Want a competition racket with a stable weight range (365-375 g)

Not the right fit for players who: - Rely on defence or counter-attacking from the back of the court as their main weapon - Have a sensitive elbow or regularly play sessions over 90 minutes - Are just starting to move into advanced play — the technical demand here is steep - Want a racket that balances offence and defence equally; for that profile, the Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 strikes a better balance

Verdict

The Bullpadel XPLO 25 2025 is a power racket built with zero compromise. X-Tend Carbon 12K and Multieva form the pairing that turns swing speed into explosive ball exit; HESACORE and Air Power keep it playable without dulling its edge. Its biggest strength: it gives back exactly what you put in — no filter, no compensation. Its biggest catch: that same honesty is what makes it demanding. Only in the hands of an offensive player with a solid technical base does it deliver everything it promises.

What level of player is the Bullpadel XPLO 25 2025 built for?

This is a competition racket built for high-level players with an established offensive game. As Martín Di Nenno's signature model, it's calibrated for those who make the smash and vibora their primary weapons. There's no built-in forgiveness here — it demands you're always in position with the swing ready.

What's the weight and balance on the XPLO 25?

The official range is 365-375 g with balance at 265 mm from the handle. A 265 mm balance on a diamond shape puts the mass clearly up in the head, which boosts swing inertia and amplifies power on overhead shots — exactly the territory this racket is built for.
