It works well alongside a partner with a more aggressive racket carrying more mass up top: you hold the rally from the back, lob for lob, while your partner closes it out when the ball sits up short.

On the backhand, the wide sweet spot and high ball exit let you play plenty of safe crosscourt balls without fear of coming up short. On the forehand, if you're looking to accelerate down the line, you'll have to supply all the pace yourself.

The zentix does well the hardest thing to learn — sending back awkward balls with direction and depth — while making average what you can already do if you hit hard. It's a working racket, not a showpiece.
